The weekend of Friday 28th September saw the annual celebration of writing through Manx Litfest. St Ninian’s was lucky enough to receive a visit from British children’s author and neurodivergency advocate and speaker, Chris Bonnello.
Chris spoke to the whole of Year 8 about how he became a writer, offered top tips for creative writing and spoke about his own autism and how he embraces his neurodivergency, and that of others, through his writing.
It was an inspiring visit in many ways, and Chris Bonnello said how impressed he was by the year group, their response to him and how many well-considered and interesting questions he received.
