Pupils at St. Ninian's achieved 2 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze awards in this year's UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. Over 260,000 pupils from across the UK sat the Junior Maths Challenge with roughly the top 6% receiving a gold certificate, the next 13% a silver and the next 21% a bronze. Approximately 8200 of the top students are invited to sit a follow-on competition, the Junior Mathematical Olympiad or Kangaroo. George Graham and Jerry Yao in Year 8 took part in this on 12th June. Congratulations to them both, and to all students who took part in the Challenge.
