On the afternoon of 19th March, our winning SNHS Charity Challenge team, had their technical rehearsal, and are getting ready for next week’s final.
Charity Challenge is one of our Year 12 enrichment programmes and is run by the One World Centre. The programme involves teams raising awareness and advocating for their chosen charity, as well as researching and putting together a ten-minute presentation about the charity. The presentation is also an opportunity for students to showcase all of the hard work that they have put into their project over a period of several months.
Our winning team this year have been raising awareness for the charity ‘Street Child’ and will compete at the final, against teams from the other high schools on the island, on Wednesday 26th March at 7pm in Babbage’s, Mountain View innovation centre.
The girls have worked extremely hard, and we wish them all the best of luck for the final!
