A number of our Year 10 and Sixth Form pupils attended a production of Macbeth at the Gaiety Theatre on Thursday 3rd April.

The play was produced by Parados Theatre, a company local to the Isle of Man. It was an exciting and engaging morning, as pupils were able to see their studies come to life in a gripping tale of ambition, power, and betrayal. The play was followed by a Q&A session with the actors, allowing pupils to deepen their understanding of the characters, plot, and staging even further.

We were delighted to see some current and former staff members as well as two of our own pupils performing on stage. A rare treat!

A wonderful experience was had by all as we watched the timeless tragedy unfold in front of our eyes.

A huge thanks must go to Parados Theatre for the experience and to the VillaGaiety for being such gracious hosts.
