To support of students applying to University (both on and off Island), the Student Award Team from DESC will be holding a drop in session (for Year 13s only) to assist with the application form on Wednesday 7th May.
They suggest if students would like to submit their online application next week during the session, it would be helpful if they know the following:-
- Support required – options: tuition loan, fees grant, maintenance grant
- Date attendance started at St Ninians
- Date residency commenced on-island
- Have available to upload a copy of a bank statement/screenshot from online banking to confirm account name, sort-code and number
- For students attending UCM, they must also upload proof of age and will need a photograph of their passport or driving licence.
