On Friday 6th July, 45 Year 10 and 14 Year 12 Business students were involved in St. Ninian’s High School’s inaugural Small Business Conference. The owners of eight local businesses came into School to speak to the students about their businesses. The students were exceptionally well behaved and the speakers were very impressed with the way they engaged with each talk and the questions they asked. Students commented that the event had been very informative, with some suggesting that following the event they were more likely to start up their business. Thanks go to the following people who came in to see the students: Jamie Blair (Roots Beverage Co.), Ray Cox (Milan Veterinary Practice), Liz Craine (Blue Cottage Boarding Kennels & Cattery), Jenny James (Reap What You Sew), Dario Leonetti (Bloom Creative), John Padley (Newby and Padley Opticians), Lisa Quayle (Quayle’s Online Estate Agency) and Amy Sykes (Flamingo).
A fantastic opportunity for our students!
