We had a big win for the Saints in the local derby against Ballakermeen for the Year 10 Rugby team. BHS had the wind behind which made for a very close first half, tries from JJ Cosgrove and Ronin Murray with two, and Josh Corran converting two out of the three, gave St. Ninian's a narrow 19-14 half time lead.
The lads stepped up a gear in the 2nd half though and Murray added three more tries taking his total to five in the game. Ted Eisen with the other try and Corran converted three of four 2nd half tries. BHS fought back and scored 3 late tries, but the win was secured with a final score of 45-31. Semi finals guaranteed with 1 game left to play against a strong QEII side.
