After a disappointing first game last week our Junior Basketball squad travelled north to take on Ramsey Grammar School. We started well and found ourselves a few baskets up, but a change of tactics allowed RGS to bring the game level. After a much needed time out to reestablish focus and responsibility, we began to create more chances but were unfortunate to not be scoring. The 3rd quarter ended 11-8. The boys came out firing in the 4th quarter, with shots from all over the court dropping in for us - Louie Purvis scoring two excellent shots within a minute of each other. Carter and Yusuf were dominating both boards, whilst Alfie continued to have a defensive masterclass. The game ended 29-11 to SNHS. Player of the Match goes to Alfie Faragher: relentless on defence, excellent composure when turning over the ball and he did not stop working!
