The Intermediate Basketball team produced an outstanding performance in their 42–13 win against Ramsey Grammar School, showcasing teamwork, intensity, and excellent tactical awareness throughout the game. From the outset, the team impressed with their sharp movement in attack, particularly on fast breaks where they consistently transitioned with speed and precision. Their ability to move the ball quickly created numerous scoring opportunities and kept the opposition on the back foot.
Defensively, the team was relentless. Their energy and commitment were evident in every possession, making it extremely difficult for RGS to find any rhythm. Well-timed presses and intelligent switches at key moments disrupted play and forced turnovers that the boys capitalised on effectively. Offensively, the team showed great composure in the key. Their positioning and decision-making allowed them to take full advantage of court space, converting high-percentage shots and maintaining control of the scoreboard throughout.
This was a complete team performance—disciplined in defence, dynamic in attack, and full of confidence. A thoroughly deserved win and a brilliant example of what this group is capable of. Well done, boys!
