On Saturday 6th December, Year 13 students, Phoebe, Freya and Angela took part in the annual courts advocacy competition final after advancing from the initial round, whereby they were randomly allocated either a defence or prosecution role and delivered mock bail applications to the Magistrates.

The event concluded with a question and answer session from some of the advocates observing their bail applications, alongside some general feedback about the presentation of the case from the Magistrates.

This proved to be an insightful and exciting opportunity for the students to gain real experience in advocacy.

Many thanks to all involved for this opportunity.
