Congratulations to our Year 11 leavers! Today, we saw our Year 11 students complete their compulsory education and commence study leave ahead of their GCSE exams. We were delighted to hold their Leavers Ceremony and thank Headteacher Mr Coole, Mrs Brereton Chair of Governors and Deputy Headteacher Mrs Neill for joining our Year 11s for the formal celebration of their Record of Experience.
Tutor group representatives gave a speech about their tutor groups and showed their commitment and dedication to their peer groups and the school by undertaking this responsibility. We are also grateful to our Sixth Form Head students for sharing their words of wisdom and to all of the teachers and staff at St. Ninian's for their support and encouragement of our Year 11 students over the years. After the ceremony, the students enjoyed a celebration in the gym, signing of their leavers shirts and opportunities to take photographs together to celebrate their achievements.
I am immensely proud of each and every one of the students of Year 11 and it has been a pleasure to be their Head of Year. They will be missed and we wish them the best of luck in their exams and in their onward pathways. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
Mrs Smart, Head of Year 11
