St. Ninian’s High School is delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students in this year’s Junior Maths Challenge. Pupils demonstrated determination, resilience and excellent mathematical thinking as they tackled a range of challenging problems designed to stretch and inspire young mathematicians.
We are incredibly proud of all students who took part and represented the school so positively. Their hard work and enthusiasm resulted in an impressive collection of awards:
8 Gold certificates
14 Silver certificates
23 Bronze certificates
A special congratulations goes to Sophie Wood, who achieved Best in Year with an outstanding score of 87 and to Joseph Foster and Jack Gumbley, who both achieved the remarkable score of 101, earning the title of Best in School.
An extra well done goes to the students who performed so strongly that they have been invited to take part in the prestigious Junior Kangaroo follow-on competition:

Joseph Foster
Jack Gumbley
Jessie-B Herron
Aubrey Lawton
Zane Quinn
Charles Shaw
Being invited to the Junior Kangaroo is a significant achievement and reflects exceptional performance in the challenge.
The Junior Maths Challenge encourages students to think creatively, apply logical reasoning and enjoy mathematics beyond the classroom. We are delighted to see so many students embracing these opportunities and achieving such excellent results.
Congratulations to everyone involved — we look forward to seeing even more mathematical success in the future!
