Last week, Normandy Veteran Hector Duff visited lower school and spoke to Year 9 students about his experiences during World War Two. He explained to the students why it is important that the island continues to remember the fallen. The students were also involved in a question and answer session, where Hector answered questions about his life before, during and after the war. Hector is a regular visitor to the school and the students were privileged to hear his story.
