It is always great to hear from previous students and share their successes. Such an occasion presented itself when former St Ninian’s High School student, Owen Atkinson, currently about to embark upon his final year French and Spanish degree at the University of Bristol, came to talk to Yr 13, Yr 12, Yr 11 MFL classes and some Yr 10 MFL classes. Owen gave studying and revision tips, talked about what a degree in Modern Languages entails, his work as an English teacher in Buenos Aires and Corrientes in Argentina, his work at a radio station in Nantes in France and his hopes for the future after he finishes his degree. The students engaged very well and asked excellent questions. We wish Owen much success in his final year and are grateful he found the time to come and see us.
