The Y10s played Castle Rushen last week in a hard fought game in the wind down in Castletown. Although the lads were much improved, in the second half they were no match for the Southerners who ran out comfortable 50-0 winners.

The Senior team played Ramsey Grammar school on the 4th October and were narrowly beaten by a single point! The Saints started brightly with a try and conversion by Craig Martin, before RGS came back with a try of their own. The impressive, and eventual man of the match, Dylan McClean went over midway through the first half with C Martin again adding the extra two points to make it 14-5 at half time. Ramsey had a lot of the ball in the second half and were awarded numerous penalties, and although the St Ninian’s defence was strong, the Northerners managed two second half tries without response to win the game 14-15!

The seniors then welcomed Castle Rushen to Lower School last week who showed their intent in the early exchanges. With a very strong squad they ran out 67-8 winners, with the Saints points being scored by Corbin Liebenberg with a try and a penalty kick.
