On the 15th November 2018, we are holding an Information Evening for all interested parents designed to provide a range of advice and information regarding online safety. This will commence at 6pm and will last approximately 50 minutes.

More than ever, young people communicate, share and view content and use games online. Do you know what risks your children are exposed to online or what you can do about it? Are you aware of the very real high risks with potentially long reaching consequences? This session aims to highlight some of the risks, answer questions and offers useful, practical information and advice to help minimise those risks.

After a very short introduction from Mr. Coole the session will be delivered by Julie Wilsdon, ICT Advisory Teacher with DESC and Graham Kinrade, Director of Operations, Government Technology Services. Both presenters have a wealth of knowledge and experience, have presented to all the schools on the island regarding this issue, and will be happy to discuss any concerns, answer questions and offer support and advice.

The event will be held in the Lower School Assembly Hall (Bemahague site) which can be accessed via the school’s front entrance. No need to book, just come along.
