Last week a number of Year 8 students had the opportunity to take part in an hour long Skype call with students from a Belgium school. The students spent the time asking and answering questions of their Belgian counterparts. It wasn’t long before the conversations turned to films, music, social media and whether you liked McDonald's. The biggest shock seemed to be that we only had one McDonald's on the island. It was great way for our students to gain some understanding of life in other countries and they are all desperate to Skype again soon.
