Our Sixth Form were pleased to welcome Tanya August-Hanson, MLC, to our assembly this morning to recognise the 100 years since the House of Keys Election Act 1919 was passed. Many thanks for this informative talk in which students found out about how this Act introduced universal adult suffrage based on residency and provided for the entire electorate to be eligible to stand for the House of Keys.
