Wednesday was a poignant day as we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 13 students. The day began with an informal assembly, looking back at how much the students have changed over the years.
Celebrations continued throughout the morning as the students enjoyed time with their tutors. A celebratory lunch extended into the afternoon; a huge thank you to Claire at 'Boxed Off', for supplying the Photo Booth whereby many friendship memories were captured.
Our formal ceremony took place at St. Ninian’s church, where there were words of encouragement from the Chair of Governors and the Headteacher, followed by our Year 13 students receiving their subject certificates and testimonials. We were delighted to present Phoebe Cheng with a special gold award for community volunteering as part of a recognition programme introduced by Mr Roberts.
All in all, a wonderful day was had by everyone. We would like to thank our Year 13 students for the tremendous amount of hard work they have put into their studies and express our appreciation of how they have represented the school over the last two years – they have been brilliant.
As our alumni of St. Ninian’s High School, they will always remain a part of our extended family and we hope that they will keep in touch.
Very best wishes for the future from everyone at SNHS.
Mr Schofield
