Drawing inspiration from 7F’s great assembly on ‘Our World’, 7E stepped up with the desire to lead an assembly of their own.
The topic of ‘Endangered animals’ is one which many felt passionate about as they set about looking at positive steps taken locally which we could all easily help with. The assembly started with some examples of critically endangered or vulnerable animals, which included some good audience participation. Students then highlighted the positives that are being done by global wildlife associations and local initiatives such as Beach Buddies, The Puffin Project, Midweek Muckers and the 120 water refill stations around the island.
Well done to the students involved, from researchers to on stage presenters and slideshow editors to recorded readings. It really was a very interesting assembly and you did a fantastic job!
Many thanks to Mrs Geal-Wilkes for assisting her group and ensuring they were well prepared.
