The rounders tournaments took place last Wednesday in perfect rounders weather conditions! All year groups have had a successful season in terms of results in previous fixtures so there was all to play for.
The Year 7s had a fantastic afternoon. They played the best rounders they had played all season and were rewarded by winning the competition!
The Year 8s had a great afternoon too, with tough opposition. The girls ended up in a credible 3rd position.
The Year 9s again stepped it up and with close fixtures they knew it was going to be a tough afternoon. The girls managed to secure wins in all matches and won the tournament.
The Year 10s again had tough opposition and it all went down to their final match against CRHS. The girls just couldn’t cope with the phenomenal batting from CRHS and were just pipped at the post ending up as runners up.
A brilliant season had by all!
