Last week was EU code week and SNHS students had a chance to engage in coding activities. Learning to code is a really useful skill for all students to learn, even if they don’t want to become coders. It teaches us organisation, logic and perseverance, as well as how to debug or find mistakes in our code. SNHS young coders used the Swift Playgrounds app on the iPads to code a character named Byte around a series of mazes, each incrementally more difficult than the last, but each teaching a more advanced coding skill.

Well done to all participants.
