Paul McCann, lead nurse at Nobles's Hospital Neonatal Unit, led our Sixth Form assembly on Tuesday for International Men's Day. He gave a very informative talk on his career choice, observing that when he first trained, it was a very female dominated profession. Thankfully this is not the case now. His talk on the care provided for premature babies was very interesting and highlighted the impact on the families involved.
Mr Dyson led the upper school assemblies this week, focussing on male stereotypes, the importance of both physical and mental health and positive male role models.
Many thanks to both speakers for supporting this important event.
