On Tuesday we were delighted to hold our Year 13 Life Skills Day which was organised in consultation with students to cover aspects of life and living which they felt to be relevant to their future. Sessions included management of personal finances, cooking on a budget, positive mental health strategies, basic self-defence and First Aid. The day finished with a session from Money Mule, which addressed how students could protect themselves from financial crimes.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Lloyds Bank, Isle Listen, HeartStart, Mr Birtles, Mrs Freegard and the Financial Intelligence Unit for facilitating such a useful day.
