One of our Charity Challenge groups organised a Lip Sync Battle at upper school to raise awareness of their chosen charity, Play Action International. The group gave talks to tutor groups about the work of the charity and raised funds at the event. Play Action International design and construct playgrounds at schools and support teachers to use the playground as an educational aid and enhance learning through the integration of play within the classroom. The playgrounds are led by community design and built by local people using local materials.
The Lip Sync Battle was won by Molly Preston who sang 'Girlfriend' by Avril Levigne.
Well done to all involved - the event was lots of fun and raised awareness of a worthwhile charity.
