This week some of our Sixth Form students visited St. Mary’s School to lead activities for World Book Day.
Kirsty Barratt, Shelley Roberts, Laura Griffiths and Amy Nguyen read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and planned a maths activity to follow.
Bethanie Howell read her favourite book, Paddington Bear, and Bethany Gordon and Cyrelene Tan read their favourite book, Toby Rabbit.
Kirsty has applied for a teacher training course and Bethany is hoping to be a nurse with a paediatrics specialism. The others have said they enjoy working with children and wanted to take up the opportunity.
Many thanks to Miss Sharpe for arranging this; everyone involved really enjoyed the experience.
