On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, our new Year 8s enjoyed a trip to the Wildlife Park. Our pupils were able to see the conservation programmes in action preserving and helping endangered animals in wetlands. They saw other large species including cats, birds of prey, primates and meerkats too. Students took part in a nature trail and also a session in the Rain Forest Theatre where the pupils saw live invertebrates and reptiles. Pupils learnt about adaptation, biodiversity, animal classification and conservation. Other attractions in the park, including the train, were also very popular.

All staff and pupils on the trip had a wonderful time in the glorious weather. Special thanks to our Year 13 helpers, all staff on the trip and Miss Salway for organising this visit.
