Miss Reid, Subject Leader for History, has been delivering some thought provoking assemblies to each year group in preparation for Remembrance Day. Her theme this year is 'Remember When' and she highlighted how key historical events may have some unexpected positive outcomes in the aftermath. Focussing on the importance of remembrance, Miss Reid suggested different things the students could think about, along with the tragedy and loss, during the two minutes silence next week, such as the amazing acts of kindness that occurred, the bravery of so many and hope for the future.
Poppies are available for sale at both upper and lower school.
