I know that all of our Year 11 students are revising hard for their mock examinations, but some of our students have already started to complete some very different types of assessment for their courses in school. Today, our Year 11 Practical Cookery students had their first practical mock. The students were in early, at 8.30am, preparing their kitchens ready for their assessment - to prepare and cook a three course meal in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
We were all very proud of the students, especially after all the challenges the last couple of years have thrown their way; their dishes were all presented well and tasted delicious!
We wish them all well in all their other mocks next week.
