The Year 8 girls played their last fixture against KWC on Monday.
The A team had a fantastic first half with goal keeper Millie Rhodes making a number of excellent saves to keep the score 0 – 0 at half time!
The KWC girls stepped it up another gear in the second half, but again Millie was keeping the team in the game until KWC finally broke through and the score ended 2 – 0 to KWC. Player of the match was Millie Rhodes.
The B team had a great game and battled hard against the KWC girls. The score at half time was 2 – 0 and the girls continued to try to score, but unfortunately the KWC girls took their chances and the final score was 5 – 0. Player of the match was awarded to Zahara Iqbal-Corkill.
A fantastic season girls, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you all and it has been so pleasing seeing the improvement match upon match!
