This week we began our Christmas Appeal, collecting donations of groceries and toiletries from the staff and students to be donated to those who may find the festive season a struggle. Shopping trolleys will placed on both school sites and the donations received will be split between The Food Bank and Graih (the homeless shelter).
We were pleased to welcome Medina, a volunteer with the Food Bank, to assembly last week when she explained the work of the Food Bank, the particular challenges faced and ways we can all get involved.
Particular items needed this year are:
UHT milk, coffee, sugar, sweet treats/ biscuits, tinned food, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls and deodorant.
