Two dolphins have safely arrived and are currently offshore in our Art department eagerly awaiting design.
We have chosen two themes for our dolphins and created mood boards and information sheets for the students. The focus of one theme is to raise awareness of Climate Change or Plastic Pollution in the sea and the impact on wildlife. Theme 2 aims to raise awareness for the need for Diversity, Tolerance and Acceptance using the work of famous artist Keith Haring who stood up for the human rights of people.
Our Year 7 students have dolphin and fin templates and will design their very own themed dolphins during Tutorial and Art.
Thank you to Art’s Miss Miller for her creativity and inspiration on themes and, thank you in advance to Mr Mason and our Art Department who will lead and support our students transferring designs into reality with the dolphins.
