The Year 9 GCSE Options Evening will be held at St. Ninian’s High School Upper School site on Thursday 17th March 2022. The focus of the evening is to provide the opportunity for you to speak informally to subject specialists about the various courses on offer and the suitability of these courses for your son/daughter. Subject specific information stands will be located in the Sports Hall and Gymnasium at our Upper School site.
Please use the entrance on Somerset Road. There will be limited parking spaces available on the tennis courts and car park, which can be accessed from Somerset Road.
The evening will begin at 6pm and will end at 7:30pm. In order to make best use of time we have recorded a presentation outlining key information about the options process. We advise that you watch this 5 minute video before attending the evening as there will be no presentation given on the night. The presentation along with information about all our KS4 courses offered this year are available on our “options for Y9” page under the students section of our web site, where you will also find some advice and guidance on making “good” choices and a copy of the options request form that needs to be returned to school by Thursday 31st March 2022.
Senior and pastoral staff will be present throughout the evening to answer questions and offer advice.
