Following the decision to request Year 9 students remain at home on Monday 21st March, we have had to make further contingency arrangements involving other year groups remaining at home for the remainder of this week.
Below summarises which year groups will need to remain at home on which days for the remainder of this week:
- Tuesday 22nd March: Year 9 to remain at home - All other year groups should attend school as usual.
- Wednesday 23rd March: Year 10 to remain at home - All other year groups should attend school as usual.
- Thursday 24th March: Year 10 to remain at home - All other year groups should attend school as usual.
- Friday 25th March: Year 9 to remain at home - All other year groups should attend school as usual.
Whilst at home, students should continue to access their usual lessons via their Google Classrooms which should have key resources and assignments available for them to learn from during the day.
Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly and we have tried to do everything to avoid this scenario but with 25% of our teaching and support staff currently absent from work and all contingencies available fully utilised, I have little option.
We will be assessing the situation each day through the week and if things improve we will inform parents if we are able to make any changes to arrangements above any sooner.
