A fantastically played final winning 6:2 proving that the lads are a class above the rest. The first 15 minutes of the game saw a closely contested game with SNHS winning more aerial battles, having greater possession and better chances on goal. Awande Gumede played some superb through balls and was a menace on the right wing and Alex Ringham delivering the ball into safety and initiating several attacks. The first goal came 16 minutes in From Caleb Huwgill leaving the defence for dead and slotting one in past the keeper. This was soon answered back with a goal from RGS bringing it level, however with our momentum in attack Cameron Brew controlled a fantastic long ball delivering it to the bottom corner. With a 2:1 lead Our captain Deaglan Blake finished the half with a goal of the season crossing a long ball at a tight angle floating into the top corner. Starting the second half strong, Caleb again making superb runs through the defence with such speed giving him yet another opportunity to score. Again this was closely followed by a goal from RGS leaving it 4:2. With 15 minutes to still hold onto the game, Micah Clarricoats who was on as a sub passed and moved superbly in the opponents box sitting across their goal to receive and finish 2 sitters for him rounding off the game with the 6:2 win. There was not a player who didn’t give their all on that pitch and so many provided a touch of magic at various times that picking man of the match was a very hard decision. In the end it goes to Deaglan for steering the team, holding the ball so well at times, making those all importing tackles and intelligent delivery of passes.

Well done to all those involved, you have done the school proud.
