Level 2 Summer Results Day: Thursday 22nd August 2024 from 0900


Confidentiality

Results belong to a candidate. Therefore we do not issue results to other people (including parents or carers) unless specifically instructed to do so by a candidate.

If a candidate is unable to collect results on a results day the options are:

  • Make a written request for an authorised person to collect their results (photographic ID will be requested)
  • Request that results are emailed (this service is only available to school email addresses)
  • Provide a stamped, self addressed envelope for results to be posted
  • Collect results at future date


IGCSE results

For students who sat Cambridge examinations, results will be available online from 13th August. Students should have already received their login details prior to study leave commencing. It is important for students to ensure they can access the online portal ahead of time to avoid any last-minute issues. The CIE portal can be found here: https://myresults.cie.org.uk. If log in details have been misplaced a copy can be requested by emailing snhsexams@sch.im.


SQA results

For students who sat SQA qualifications, results will be available online from 6th August. Candidates have their own My Portal access to the SQA website, through which results can be accessed. Several sessions were run through the school year to help students set up My Portal access, however it is advisable that students check they can access the portal ahead of time to avoid any last-minute issues. Advice and guidance Level 3 results

For January and March results days all staff are in school and available for candidates to discuss their results and any implications associated with their results.

For Summer results day Senior Leaders and the Head of Sixth Form are available for advice and guidance:

For students looking for help, advice and guidance regarding university admissions

  • Drop in sessions will be available in the Sixth Form Centre on results day from 0800

For students looking for help and advice about their ongoing Level 3 pathway

  • Appointments will be available to book via a sign up sheet in the main foyer on results day and will run from 1100
  • Mrs Hillier, our Careers Advisor, will also be available to provide guidance on pathways outside of St. Ninian’s High School (including Level 3 qualifications at UCM), seeking employment and vocational opportunities.

Advice and guidance Level 2 results

For January and March results days all staff are in school and available for candidates to discuss their results and any implications associated with their results.

For Summer results day a wide variety of staff, including Senior Leaders, the Head of Sixth Form and some subject staff/leaders are available for advice and guidance.

  • The team is on hand to support students in choosing their onward pathways
  • Advice and guidance may also be provided by the Careers Service and UCM, details of services will be advertised on the day.

For prospective Sixth Form students (former Year 11 students and external candidates) appointments will be available for students who intend to join SNHS Sixth Form in September and wish to discuss their A Level options, or have been asked to make an appointment by the Sixth Form team. Appointments can be made via the sign up sheet which will available in the main foyer. Appointments will take place in the Sixth Form Centre.

  • Results day appointments will be available between 0900 and 1130
  • Appointments will also be available on Friday 23rd August between 0900 and 1100
