A Creative Industries event was held on Tuesday to encourage our students to think about their future careers in this area. A selection of students from Years 10, 12 and 13 attended online Zoom talks via the 'Inspiring the future' organisation, with guest speakers from Graphic Design, the theatre industry and a creative writer (author ) .
This was followed by a question and answer session and an in person talk from Peter Shimmin from the IOM Arts centre, who outlined his many facetted role. An insight into types of Event Production was also given by Mr Clague .
The students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and gained an excellent insight into the Creative Industries sector.
