The girls had their final netball matches this week against a tough opposition of Castle Rushen High School.
However, The Saints put in a great team effort. It was the most calm, collected and together the girls have played all season. Massive congratulations to them all. They brought the ball down from defence into attack with more patience and utilised all the space on the court. There was great movement in the shooting circle as Sienna Thatcher and Chloe Schofield worked together and put up the right shots. The defenders Amber Hammal, Alex Cowley and Poppy Gerrard made some great fly intercepts and fought hard for every rebound. There was great control and patience through the mid-court between Abigial Campbell, Evie Cowell and Leah Prentice.
It was a well fought first season with it being the first time all of the girls playing on the same team.
There is already a lot of excitement for what the team can build on for next season.
Come on The Saints!
