What a thrilling conclusion to our Euro 2024 charity event! Both semi-finals were filled with suspense and excitement. In the first semi-final, Ukraine (7H) staged an incredible comeback from 2-0 down against Scotland (7B), ultimately winning in a dramatic penalty shootout. The second semi-final saw Denmark (7D) and Italy (7I) battle to a goalless draw, with Denmark prevailing in another tense penalty shootout.

In a riveting final, Ukraine surged to a 2-0 lead early on, but Denmark fought back valiantly, scoring one goal, and applying intense pressure until the final whistle. As the dust settled, Ukraine emerged victorious, sparking jubilant celebrations among their team and supporters.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation and generosity of everyone involved, we're thrilled to announce that this event has raised £200 for our chosen charity, MSPCA. It's clear that beyond the thrilling matches and competitive spirit, the real winner today is the spirit of community and support for a great cause.

A huge thank you to Mr. Smith and Miss Breen for organising, and reffing, such a memorable event, and special appreciation to the students of 7D and 7E for their dedicated efforts in collecting funds, managing teams, and providing refreshments. We will look forward to more exciting events in the future!
