Our two classes of Year 13 Criminology students had an insightful experience visiting the Isle of Man Summary Courts both this week and last week. The trip offered a unique opportunity to observe real life legal proceedings, providing an up-close look at how the justice system operates. Students attended live court sessions, witnessed various cases being heard and gained a deeper understanding of courtroom etiquette, the roles of legal professionals, and judicial decision-making processes. This was a very valuable and interesting experience for students who are currently studying trial processes and the roles within the different types of courts as part of their Criminology A Level course.
Thank you to all involved for such a great opportunity.
