We are immensely proud of our Y12 Charity Challenge Finalists 2025, who represented the charity, Street Child, and SNHS in the recent island final, competing against 4 of the island’s other high schools.
Since September, the girls have worked collaboratively, researching the work of the charity in depth, as well as advocating for Street Child by spreading awareness and hosting fundraising events. The culmination of their hard work was to produce and deliver a 10-12 minute group presentation. All SNHS teams delivered their presentations in school, competing against each other, with the winners moving on to the whole island final.
The winning team represented themselves and SNHS to a very high standard at the whole island finals and came second overall. The judges were impressed with their portrayal of their case study, a wide advocacy message and their representation of the charity at the Street Child 6th Form Leadership Summit in London, which they attended via video call.
SNHS came second overall, winning a cheque of £1250, which will go directly to their charity. We are very proud of the girls, and all they have achieved, and it has been wonderful to see them grow in confidence throughout the process.
Congratulations, girls!
