The St. Ninian’s Girls’ Football Team had a fantastic tournament, finishing as the overall champions with a series of impressive results! They kicked off with a 2-0 win over KWC, followed by a strong 0-0 draw against QEII. The Saints continued their dominant form with 2-0 victories against CRHS, BHS, and RGS. Lula and Sorcha were clinical in front of goal, Olivia was solid both in defence and attack, and Lois controlled the midfield with ease. Jess was also key to their success, making tireless runs up and down the wing, creating plenty of opportunities with her precise crosses. The defence also locked in to make impressive tackles by Taylor and safe hands in goal from Willow to ensure the Saints came away with no goals being conceded.
Overall, it was a great display of excellent teamwork and determination, the Saints sealed the tournament with a well-earned 4 out of 5 victories. Huge shoutouts to all the girls. The team can be extremely proud of their performance and the trophy they brought home!
