The last day began with a slightly earlier start—breakfast at 7:15am—and then a swift room check by staff, followed by check-out with Niamh and the team. By 9:00am, we were on the move, heading for the boat, arriving just before 10:00am.
With cases unloaded and goodbyes said, we took a moment to thank Darren and Steve, our fantastic coach drivers who looked after us all week. Then, it was time to check in our now heavily loaded cases — the spoils of a week’s worth of shopping!
The boat journey back to the Isle of Man offered a chance for a well-earned rest and some reflection on the week. Many students returned truly inspired, with clear plans and goals for what comes next.
This week wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible efforts of our staff team: Mrs Saven, Mrs Needle, Ms Malyan, Miss Sharpe, Ms Crisford, Mr Clements, Mr Edwards, and Mr Putt — what a team! They’ve been simply the best.
We hope all the students enjoyed the visit and start to think about their next steps. Now, it’s time for a well-deserved summer break… you’ve earned it!
