A great first game for the Senior Hockey squad who are ready for another competitive hockey season. With a revamped team, the girls started the game tentatively as they get used to their new teammates and roles on the pitch, however it didn’t take long before they were moving the ball around with efficiency. Player of the match, Lara scored two great goals and used her speed to weave through the QEII defence, Ela also had a phenomenal game and made sure she got herself a goal too! The team were led by Captain, Macey, who was cool, calm and collected and led by example throughout the game. The final score was 3-0 to SNHS. A special shoutout to Morgan who was playing very well but unfortunately got injured, we wish her a speedy recovery. Well done girls, onwards and upwards - let’s go Saints!
