The Year 8s had a great afternoon of Hockey at Ramsey, with all 4 teams coming away with a win - the girls' hard work at training is really paying off.
The A team won 9-0 (Tallulah Wilson, Amelia Callow, Ruby Crellin, Maixa Singh and Amber Thomas), they worked the ball around the team excellently; led by the cool, calm and collected Captain, Maixa, the team really clicked and put together a great performance.
The B team won 1-0 (Leticia Godinho), with all the girls playing very well together and ensuring that they got back to help defend. This hard work allowed them to get the ball down the pitch to slot it into the goal and win the game.
The C team won 1-0 (Hollie Corlett), a last minute short corner won the girls their game. Their tenacity, enthusiasm and great tackling throughout the game kept them on top and in a great position to win the game when they did.
The D team won 1-0 (Darcie Lewin), they had a great game, especially at one point playing against the opposition's B team, the girls were still able to work the ball around and make some strong tackles to ensure the win.
A huge well done to all involved, let’s go Saints.
