The Year 10 girls faced a tough challenge this week against a strong Castle Rushen High School side, eventually losing 9–0. Castle Rushen started the match with great intensity, putting the team under early pressure and scoring several quick goals. By half time, the score stood at 7–0 to Castle Rushen. Despite the difficult start, the girls showed fantastic determination and teamwork in the second half. With our goalkeeper Liliana making some excellent saves. The girls reorganised, communicated well, and defended much more confidently, limiting Castle Rushen to only two further goals after the break. Although the final score wasn’t in our favour, the team should be proud of their resilience and the way they came together to improve as the game went on. Their second-half performance showed real spirit and potential for future matches.
