The Year 8 Rugby team kicked off their season with an exciting and competitive match against KWC.
KWC got off to a fast start, scoring the opening try and putting St Ninian’s under early pressure. However, St Ninian’s responded brilliantly and gradually took control of the game. The team showed excellent teamwork, determination and attacking intent to turn the score around.
St Ninian’s went on to score five tries, with Ben B, Lucas C, Malvin, Seb and Toby all getting on the scoresheet. Excellent running, passing and support play helped the team build momentum as the match progressed.
Despite KWC’s early lead, St Ninian’s finished strongly to secure an impressive 35–5 victory.
It was an excellent all-round performance, with everyone contributing in both attack and defence. Well done to all the players for their effort, commitment and teamwork!
