What a fantastic performance from the Year 8A team, who came away with an exciting 55–35 victory against RGS after a highly competitive and entertaining game of rugby.

The match was full of attacking intent, with the boys showing excellent determination and confidence throughout. One of the biggest strengths of the team was their ability to rip the ball in contact and break through defensive lines, creating numerous opportunities to turn possession into points.

The boys worked hard to win possession back and immediately looked to attack, with excellent ball carrying, support play and movement creating space for teammates. Their ability to maintain momentum and continually put RGS under pressure was a key factor in the victory.

There were plenty of moments when the game could have gone either way, with RGS putting together some strong attacking phases of their own. However, the boys responded positively, continued to work hard for each other and never let their heads drop. Their determination and teamwork helped them maintain control and see the game through to the final whistle.

The 55 points scored were a reward for some excellent attacking rugby, with the team showing great energy, confidence and creativity in possession. Although they conceded 35 points, the boys continued to battle for every ball and showed great resilience throughout.

A special mention goes to our joint Players of the Game, Seb D and Toby S, who both put in outstanding performances. Their effort, commitment and contribution to the team's performance were excellent and played a big part in securing the victory.

Overall, it was a thoroughly entertaining game and a fantastic team performance. The boys should be very proud of the way they competed for every ball, won possession, broke defensive lines and attacked with confidence to secure an impressive 55–35 victory.
