Recently the SNHS girls' football teams have achieved great success. This is the second year that football fixtures for girls have been included on the sporting calendar. There are A and B leagues across years 7-10, resulting in fantastic numbers of girls participating. For many it is their first time playing competitive football. The conclusion of the leagues resulted in our year 7, 8, 9 and 10 first teams winning their respective leagues, with the year 10 B team also winning their league too. Well done to all who have taken part; everyone has shown great commitment to training and playing each week. We hope this positive experience may encourage more girls to join a local football team and begin playing more regularly!
