Tonight we were delighted to host the St.Ninian's One World Centre Charity Challenge Final. It was an interesting evening, reflecting months of research, advocacy and fundraising from each from the groups. The teams, representing Action Village India, Dekamile, The St. George Foundation and Thare Machi Education, gave informative presentations and we are pleased to announce that the group representing Thare Machi Education were awarded first place and will now represent St. Ninian's at the island final on 27th March. The other three charities will each receive £200.
Thank you to the judges tonight, Miss Ainsworth, Mrs Crellin, Mrs Shipley and Mr Coole, who had to reach a very difficult decision. Thanks also to Sarah Comish, from the One World Centre and to Mrs Donaldson for co-ordinating the Charity Challenge teams.
